Darra's Review:
Day Two of me terribly explaining how great Vivian's books are. When I writes reviews, I explain a little that goes on in the book and say it is good, I liked it, it was alright. Today? Best choice of words: Wow...ugh...AWESOME book 2!
That is why I am not an author. Once you have read The Gilded Lily, you are coming down hard from euphoria of Rio(well most of it) and now she is at home with her ailing father. Sucker punch, I know. Now the story shifts to real life in New York. Having to take over for her Dad at the company, dealing with the sticky situation she left behind and trying to staying strong for her family is rough.
There is more than hot, lustful exhilarating sex. (I won't lie about this. That is one of the best parts to a book) You finally meet Lily's sister. As a reader, you will not like her in the first book. However you will change your mind once she has the talk with Lily and what really went down.
The main question for this book is "How do you keep from yourself  separate from the business side to your personal life?" Heart break, amazing sex, stress and release sum up the book well.

EXCERPT:

“Lily, life is all about the upsides. Sometimes you just have to just go with your feelings. Let life take you on an adventure.”
“You sound like a cliché.”
“Clichés are clichés for a reason, dear Lily.”
“So the sex is fantastic?” Dahlia squeals.
“Mind-blowing.” Lily replies.
“What’s that I hear about my sex?” Gustavo stands at the bathroom door, start naked and smiling.
