SynopsisRegret . . . she's a snarky little bitch. I’ve tried several times to regret the events that took place on June 5, 2008, but for the life of me, I can’t. I'd never regret the pain, the suffering, or the heartache because they ultimately led me to the place I am now. And I can’t regret the place I am now. What I still can't figure out is this: how is it possible that the single worst day of my life inadvertently became the very best day? Five years ago my life was irrevocably changed. Seventeen minutes was all it took— to lose my best friend… to lose the love of my life… Seventeen minutes was all it took for the seeds of hope—the seeds of my future—to be planted in the worst possible way. My name is Harley Thompson, and this is my story.
Wow. What a memorable way to start a book. I loved the book. It is fantastic from beginning to end. If you read below, you will understand why I could not keep my nose out of this book. There was not one character in the story I didn't like. Harley have a rough few years after Ty left. Gut wrenching to imagine being in her position.
What happens? Tyson shows back up. How can you prevent from loving your best friend if you have loved him all along? There is so much struggle with how Harley and Ty felt.
To explain how much I loved the book will not do it justice. The story made me laugh, cry, broke my heart and then mended it. Such a strong story that could be real life. No fairy tale and that is what makes you relate to the situations in the story.
I give the book a 4.7. I can't imagine any reader will not be intrigued.
