Title: The Morning After (Morning #1)
Author: Adriane Leigh
Release Date: May 19, 2014
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Synopsis
Georgia Montgomery lives in an ever-present state of denial.
It's the only coping mechanism she's found to overcome the horror that colors her past.
Until one pleasure seeking playboy turns her world on its axis.
Georgia tries to ignore the tornado of emotion that sweeps through her system whenever Tristan is near, but just like an addiction, one look, one taste, one touch is never enough.
And then there's Kyle, the doting boyfriend she's left at home for the summer, the one she gave her heart to when she was twelve, the one that holds her fragile love in his strong and steady hands.
What was once comfortable turns unbearable, and soon Georgia finds herself fantasizing about the forbidden.
The chemistry between Tristan and Georgia is scorching and it isn't long before the slow burn ignites into a full-blown wildfire that threatens to consume anything in its path.
Denial is comfortable.
Love is anything but.

Light in Morning (Morning #2)
Darra's Review:
I am going to be blunt. I was a little leery reading this book. Books have a tendency to have a very similar storyline to many I have read before. When I looked at the synopsis and the cover it made me think it was. But somewhere between the first word and the last, I could not but help myself from getting attached to the characters. I completely understood why Georgia was conflicted. I think I was feeling the same emotions that were described in the book.
That is when you know you are reading a good book. I got sucked in and when the book ended, I went on Amazon to buy the next book. I want more of Tristan, of Georgia and Kyle. This seems to be a story you know gets even better with the follow up book.
I rate the book a 4.3. And I will continue with light in Mourning. I will let you know what I think. :-)
