NEW RELEASE!
Bring the Heat by KB Winters
Sports Romance

Steamy, Sexy Bad Boys Of Summer! Can It Get Any Hotter?

I never claimed to be the greatest pitcher in the world—then again, maybe I did—but I was probably drunk off my ass trying to seduce some chick. I had no intention of ever becoming Cody Wright, the best—or the greatest. That was more my old man’s dream. The REAL Mr. Wright.

So, what the hell was I doing starting my rookie season with the Oklahoma City Warriors? Well, the way I see it, playing baseball was what I was born to do.

It was easy.

And the title and paycheck afforded me everything I could ever want—hot cars and even hotter women.

Everything was peachy keen to my standards—until a chance meeting with a brunette spinner named Chelsea Brooks rocked my world and changed the game for good.

You don’t get to be a pro ball player without a few skeletons in your closet—secrets that could cost me everything. The fame, the money, and worst of all…Chelsea.

Don’t miss KB’s brand new hottest bad boy sports romance of the summer! Bring The Heat is a standalone! No Cliffhangers!

Darra's Review:

This is the first baseball book I have read. I can also tell you I am a super fan of watching baseball players..I mean the games. Purely for the game. Who's kidding? Everyone loves baseball players in those uniforms!
In this book, it is like geek meets hot, almost famous sports player. Cody is now in the major leagues and Chelsea could care less. Absolutely not interested in getting involved with Cody who can have any woman. Which I completely get. He is smooth and does have game. Despite his first lines he uses on her, he grows on you. Wiggles his way into your heart and becomes the guy Chelsea may actually let in her little bubble.  Of course, there is one crazy ex that is completely psycho that you will want to rip every hear out of her head. But you got to include a little crazy to make a story interesting.

I liked the book. Quick and easy read. If you are not looking for a serious and mentally exhausting story, check this book out. Enjoyable till the past page.

I rate the book a 4.4 out of 5.

Sunny's Review:

This book is pretty good. I agree with Darra, who doesn't love the baseball players! You meet Chelsea in this book and she is a nerdy game/App programmer. I like her for the most part. She is a homebody and is not looking for a relationship. She is trying to get ahead in work and hangs out with her bestie, Paris. I was not very fond of Paris at first but I think I ended up liking her more than I planned. Cody was just brought up to the majors at the beginning of the book and has all the arrogance that you expect from ball players. Everything that he said the first few chapters were typical player lines. It was like he never had to work for a girl. As the book went along I liked Cody more. There are some things that they go through that made me not like Chelsea as much. I tried to tell myself in her position I would react the same way but then I am like maybe not.

I did like that while Cody and Chelsea both changed a little bit through the book it was fairly realistic. Cody did not just change personality totally from bad boy to perfect lovey dovey guy. I like that Chelsea did not turn into the girl that just through everything to the side for the guy.

This book is a good quick read. I am giving it 4.4 stars out of 5.
