Sunny's Review:

I really liked this book and this series. I was visiting my family when I was reading this book and they all looked at me like I was crazy when I tried to describe the Vangels and Lucipires. After I was done they were intrigued.

Cnut is gluttony and there are so many things that he says and thinks that I think too. I feel like pretty much any person that tries to eat healthy and exercise fights the "fat people" inside of them. I know I do and she wins so many times. In other words I understand Cnut and it made me really love him. He was a horrible jerk as a Viking. When he goes back to his original time with Andrea he tried to right his wrongs. He realized what he had done to the people who depended on him and he really did work hard to fix his mistakes.

Andrea was pretty awesome too. She had a rough childhood in a lot ways. She never went without anything but she was emotionally neglected after her mother passed away. She was responsible for her little sister and that did not change as adults. She hires Cnut to help find her sister and get her away from terrorists. When it all goes wrong, she works hard to help Cnut fix things in his castle. She does not complain. I mean I would be so mad if I were sent back in time.

I really like that Cnut is gluttony and falls for a pastry chef. I mean talk about having constant temptation.  I am giving this book 4.5 stars out of 5. You have some mystery, some comedy and HOT vangels. What more can you ask for in a book?

Following Love by Kay Lindy!!

Darra's Review:

Starting from the beginning, Roxy was a take no crap kind of girl. Although she was put in a terrible position by an a-hole of a person, she made the best of it and did what she needed to do. All she wanted was to stay away from what she hated most, drugs.
Blair did not reveal the true person he was until mid story. However when he did, you could tell he always wanted the best for Roxy. You do want to root for him despite his shady lifestyle.
Jack. He seems to be a good guy for Roxy. Only wants Roxy to be the girl she was before. He plans to get her out of the bad place she is at and I feel like he will be proclaiming his undying(maybe a strong word) love for her.

The book ends with a cliff hanger. What will happen next? It has left me wanting more and looking forward to more of Roxy and her new life. She is at a point in her life that leaves everything in question. Where do you go from here? Great story with strong characters. Leaves you intrigued to what will happen next.

I was so excited to read this book. I read Fearing Love and thought that book was really great. Kay did a great job making you feel and understand what the characters were dealing with. She did it again with this book.

Roxy left home as soon as she could and she had such strong feelings on drugs. Her family basically broke apart and she did not want to be around that environment. She ended up with a boyfriend that used drugs and then ended up in a situation that went against all of her morals. I can't say that I wouldn't take the job that she takes. It has a lot of perks. Again, I think that Kay Lindy did a great job showing how easy it would be for somebody to fall into this lifestyle.

Blair is a pretty great character. At first I hated him and I wanted to keep hating him through the book but there was just something about him. He was quiet and intense but he does do everything he can to make sure Roxy is safe. I really like him and there are some things that I don't think he had control over but he made the best of the situation. At the same time, I was annoyed that he was strong in some ways but in other ways he just sat there and followed orders.

Jack was pretty great too. He was Roxy's best friend's brother. He knew Roxy most of her life and did his best to help her in every way that she would let him. His pretty much unconditional help to Roxy made me love him. I also love that he never stopped trying to help her.

I think this book is 4.7 stars out of 5. You don't have to read Fearing Love before Following Love but I am glad that I read them in order. I can't wait to see what is next from Kay Lindy.

I happened to be going through Amazon and stumbled upon this book. Obviously there were great reviews. Read the synopsis and it intrigued me. I like the unusual stories that are their own. Where One Goes is just that.
Charlotte has such a hard life because she is living to save the dead. It is absolutely selfless and it drives her to the deepest despair. At the moment in her life that she can not handle it anymore, Ike shows up. It happens so quickly, but he turns her life upside down.
Ike has died and is seeing the destruction of his twins life, George. That is what he needed Char for. The resolution that George will be okay. Except his relationship with Char is so much more. She now is at a stopping point of who she cares most in her life. George, Ike, their family and her own family.
I can't describe how emotional this book left me. It pulls all the strings to your heart. The characters are beautiful. They are the ones that grab hold of your soul and do not want to let go. BN Toler wants her readers to experience what each character feels. She has done that and so much more.
I cried, and cried, and cried more. Truly an extraordinary story and swept through it within 2 days. I made Sunny read it immediately. The story was....Speechless

I rate the book a 4.8. It touched my heart and I can not imagine it would not do the same to any other reader.

This book....WOW...You need to be prepared for this one. I was not sure if I could trust all the 5 star reviews but I was not disappointed. The story is really great. The author makes you feel so much of what the characters are feeling. I was literally smiling and laughing out loud on some parts.

Char is great. She has had a really hard life and you have to feel sorry for her. Even though she is at the end of her rope, she still stops and helps Ike. She is a really strong character and I was not annoyed with her at all. Ike is freaking amazing. I fell in love with him from almost page 1. George is interesting. I wanted to hate him but you really can't. I can only imagine how great George was before Ike's death. I wish I had gotten a little bit more time with George but I found some majorly redeeming factors in him.

I am not going to lie to you, I cried. It was ugly crying. It was a lot of ugly crying. I am giving this book 4.9 out of 5 stars. Go get this book and read it.
