The Stroked Series has been amazing. All three of the guys are great. Meghan always makes me laugh my balls off. She has done no wrong and truly say without a doubt she is the funniest authors known to man and woman.
Going into this book, I was afraid Hollis would be cheese. He had terrible tag lines annoying Reese, and although it made me snicker, he remained my least favorite. It may be because I have fallen in Love with Bodi. Like hardcore, he is the love of my life in the book world. However Hollis changed my mind and he grew on me. Similar to a fungus. First you are aggravated he's there. Then you want him gone but he continues to grow. Okay, not like a fungus. Who would really want fungus grow on you? He had to be the sweetest of the three guys. He had some awwww moments and was so looking forward for him to get his happily ever after he was seeking.
Melony was a hard ass. Yes, Hollis annoyed her. Except he was totally hot and would not stop pursuing her. It was like a puppy dog. Even when you shame him and tell him to go away, he always comes back like a loyal dog. He finally tears down her high wall and I finally started to like her. I would have gave in much faster than her if Hollis wanted me. Yes, book slut.
These guys will be great to do a "If you could pick one" game. They are a little of everything. We all will have a favorite but we can't help but like all of them.
I rate this book a 4.6.

I was really looking forward to this book. I loved Stroked with Reese and you got to see a little bit of Hollis and Melony in there. You get a bit more Melony than Hollis in Stroked Long so again, I was really looking forward to this book because I liked both characters in the other books.
If you like the corny but cute guy then Hollis is totally for you. I love the cheesy lines because they make me laugh and honestly a sense of humor is a top priority for me. I was a little afraid he was going to be too much but I think he was just the right amount of playful lines. He is pretty sensitive too and all about the feelings. I personally am not an overly emotional person so that part was a little ugh for me. I know most people would not feel this way. There is definitely more to Hollis than his one liners. He puts on the happy go luck guy front and does a good job of hiding some serious parts of himself.
Melony is pretty great. She is fine with being a single girl and is not the girl that needs a guy to be happy. She tells Hollis from the first meeting to leave her alone. Hollis is defintely persistent and finally wears her down. Melony has had a lot of disappointment in her life and she does not tell many people. Hollis had to work like crazy to get her to open up to him and then he has to work even harder to prove that he can be the person for her. I was a little annoyed with Melony at some points of the story but not enough that I still didn't like her.
This whole series is amazing and I recommend you read all of the books. This one is 4.6 stars out of 5 and I would give the series a 4.8 out of 5 stars. Go get this and get to reading!!
