Darra's Review:

We have been extremely excited to read Dear Life. Meghan can make laugh till you cry. She will get you all hot and bothered by 3 hot swimmers. Now she has made a kaleidoscope of emotions flow out of my heart. Dear Life is exactly that.

There is four lives that become intertwined with each other. All of them have a different stories of happiness, despair, mourning and anger. Anyone can relate to one of these characters.
Each characters and life story is completely different. However with all of them,  they found something they needed to move forward with life.

My heart broke for Jace. I cried for him and the ultimate decision that may haunt him for the rest of his life. Yes, I agree he made the right choice. However that does not mean it would tear someone apart.

Hollyn past gave my a lump in my throat. This book makes you feel each emotion of the characters. Invested in their lives. I  can only imagine how hard it had to be to move on with your life without the person you thought would be there for the rest of your life.

Carter was a a-hole. For good reason. Life is sometimes not fair. And this book explains it all. It is a hard pill to swallow to know your life is put on hold and you have no control.

Daisy is unlike any character I have read. New to this life and is as pure as you can get. But those vests. Wow. I am so glad she set them aside. People are mean. She would be one that could be swallow whole by anyone that would show the ugliness in life.

The rest is history. All four of these characters needed each other in there life. They just didn't know they needed it. Sometimes you need a shoulder to lean on to make the next step in life. They can make you the best person you can be. This book shows exactly that.

I cannot express how much you need to read this. It is life. Yes, a letter each week. But in those words shows who these characters are.
On a side note. I am personal involved with Meghan. Not really as a friend, but as a reader to a writer. Her Dear Life touched me most. I knew some of this following her. But I cried how she expresses her feelings with each step she took. She is a beautiful person inside and out. I love her.

If you read this, you know now how much I loved Dear Life. I rate the book a 4.8. Amazing written by an amazing person.

Sunny's Review:

I love most of Meghan Quinn's books. I was not sure if I was going to like this book because it was different from her normal style. Meghan always writes hilarious books with ridiculously amazing guys in it.

This book does have some funny parts and the guys are amazing. It is a more serious book that delves into the lives of four people that are hurting and trying to live again. Carter has been miserable his whole life and continues to go down into a dark pit that he is calling life. Jace is a baseball player that has to make a decsion that tears him apart. Hollyn loses has to learn to live again after a devestating loss. Daisy has been sheltered so much in her life that she has no idea how to live.

I felt so much for each of those characters. Meghan makes you feel what they are feeling and it tears you up as you read. I love this book and am so glad that I read it.

I am giving this book 4.7 stars out of 5.

About the Author:

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if "It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing... enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
