Darra's Review:
The first book, Hidden Souls was amazing. So once we saw the opportunity to review this book, we were all over it. Seriously, even if you are not into Paranormal Romance, anyone would enjoy both books.
Hidden Souls had a huge cliffhanger that may have caused chaos in my mind. I could not wait to get some resolution to the first book. I did not get that. Left again with a cliffhanger and saying WTF out loud.
Xandra planned to leave what was her town behind. To never return to he haunted by who she lost. Her soul mate. This part can be confusing. This is a struggle against the good and the bad people. All Xandra's mission is to protect the ones she loves and keep the peace. It was rough for her. I felt more in touch with Xandra in this book than the first. Only because she lives a life no other person can handle. Strength is not a strong enough word to explain who she is.
So many people in this book. Darius is one you will fall in love with. Just a great guy that loves unconditionally. Despite the havoc of Xandra's life. Loyal thru the entire book. I am rooting for him on the HEA.
Some of the bad guys show back up and makes Xandra's life a nightmare once again. But that is what makes a book interesting! There was action till the last page. I know the fallout and ending will come in the next book, but I wish there were many more books. So much happens and I need resolution for every character!
I rate the book a 4.7 out of 5. Could not stop reading and had my life on hold for 5 hours. Could not put this book down. Descendants of Arcos is the book I always enjoy to read the most. JP did a fantastic job evolving characters to be so much more.

Sunny's Review:
I have been waiting for this book to come out for so long. I really loved the first book in this series and I was not disappointed in this book. You do have to read these books in order so if you have not read the first one, stop reading this review and go get it. You will be lost and nothing will make sense if you don't read Resurrection of Sin.
This book picks up where the last book ended. Xandra has taken off for Colorado and is trying to get her life back under control after the disaster in Groverton. As soon as she gets to CSU she runs into another soul and everything gets sideways again. She meets Walter and Darius, as well as a few other people. She realizes that she recognizes their souls and tries to do everything she can to save them. Darius is pretty great and falls for Xandra immediately. Normally this would annoy me in a book but I understand why it is happening here.
I don't want to give too much away so I will not go too deep into the plot. I am not going to lie, I did need to go back and reread the end of the first book so that I could refresh my memory. I am giving this book 4.6 stars out of 5. It is really good and I can't wait for more.

Excerpt
"You've made your point. You’re a legend; everyone knows your name. Now stop. You don't have to be this person anymore."
"Stop? What difference would it make? The damage is done. This is who I am," he growled, pounding his fist to his chest.
"This is not who you are; this is what you want everyone to believe. But I know the truth, you’re just like your father. Underneath all that hostility and rage, is a good man. And it would make a huge difference to me if you'd try to change," I said, giving him my irresistible big eyes.
He answered with a sigh.
"All I'm asking is for you to try."
"Why?"
"Because...I want to learn how to love you."
