I have read Jet Girl series. Which is where you first met Kace. I am glad Meghan wrote just about him. You just did not know Kace's background enough to understand why he is how he is. Now it makes sense! It is absolutely f'ed up what happened to him. I definitely like him more than I did before. However Goldie is annoying. Just had to include that.
Kace has forever changed because of one night that was just a mistake. You feel bad about the hand that he was dealt with. You want all his problems resolved. Well he does get resolution to his problems. That was a sigh of relief. I would not feel justified reading the book and Kace did not get all his problems fixed. Also I liked his relationship with Lyla. She is very patient to say the least. Leaving it so you can read the book and find out.
I do love Kace more than I did before. However it is not my favorite book of Meghan's. Love Kace and do not regret reading the book. He is just not my favorite leading man.
If you read the Jet Girl series, you will love this book. It is a great book and I truly believe that this book was needed. There was so much I wanted to know more about Kace. All makes sense now.
I would rate the book a 4.4.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
