About Laws of Attraction:
RC Boldt's fourth book in the Teach Me series shows us that sometimes the perfect person for you is the one you least expected it to be ... Langley Ford is the definition of serious. Going through life as a pararescue jumper, working solely around men, she’s had to go above and beyond to prove she’s their equal. In fact, she can’t recall the last time she allowed herself to truly relax or let her guard down. Always the one others rely on to crack jokes, the one to liven things up, Lawson Briggs is a fun, easygoing guy who doesn’t take life too seriously. But witnessing so many of his friends falling in love, he begins to wonder what the fuss is about. Will he ever fall prey to that infamous “love bug”? Langley is now out of the military and working at a security consulting firm. When she meets the tall, bearded teacher who has endless wisecracks and comments, a part of her wishes she could be like him, wishes she could remember how. While Lawson might be the best person to teach her how to live life to the fullest, will Langley be the one who teaches him all about love?
Darra's Review:
We both have not read the series. So it was surprising how many characters there were in the book right from the beginning. I would advise reading a couple more. Enjoyed the book immensely and it was a fun, light read I looked forward to.
The story is about Langley and trying to start her new life after leaving the military under terrible circumstances. People can do truly awful things without reason why. This has made Lee stand offish rightfully so. When she gets her new job, she is taken back by all the people she works with and how they are such a close knit family. It at first makes her feel a bit awkward. But I could totally understand. Lived your life alone for the most part and now thrown into a group of people that love each other like no one else. It is hard for her to let the past go. I think this story is about her trying to move forward and trust others despite the terrible people that turned their backs on her.
Lawson, oh Lawson. Are there many characters you can love more than him? Not many. Liked him right from the first time he was introduced. He is funny, sweet, adorable and is the full package. If I was in Lee's shoes, I would have been all about Lawson in 10 book minutes flat. I think he is the most caring person out of the group and it is made perfectly clear that Lee cannot break his heart.
Cannot tell you how the story unfolds but I truly loved reading this book. A great book to read even as a stand alone.
I would rate the book a 4.5 out of 5.

Sunny's Review:
I was not sure what I was going to think about this book. I have not read any of the other books in the series but decided to give this one a try. I am glad that I did. This book is pretty funny and it was a fast read once I got into it.
Langley (or Lee for short) was not used to having people in her life that actually care for her. There were a couple of people growing up and then there were a few people in the military. She was the first female pararescue jumper and that made her life pretty hard. While there were a lot of people that admired her accomplishments there were also so many that hated her for them. She had a hard life and it was a major adjustment for her once she started working outside of the military. Lawson (or Laws for short) is a teacher and has always had an amazing support group. He has a loving family with a hilarious grandmother and a core group of friends that always have his back. He pretty much falls for Lee from the beginning and works hard to get her to start to trust him. They have a few hiccups and it is interesting to watch them get to know each other. I love Laws. He is hilarious and I would love to have a friend like him. Plus, he is hot and a little nerdy. My perfect guy. I like Lee even though it is hard for me to relate to her in some ways.
There are a lot of people to get to know in this book. The first couple of chapters were hard because I was trying to remember who everyone was. If I had read the first couple of books in the series I am sure this would not be a problem. This really didn't make me dislike the book. I just felt like I needed to go back and reread some parts so I could remember who was who. The story was pretty good. I liked the dynamic of the group although there were parts where I was felt the others in the book were a little over the top.
I am giving this book 4.5 stars out 5. It was a fun, quick read and I really liked the characters.
