Finding love just got a little easier…

What if I told you that there’s a magic potion that could lead you to the man of your dreams?

Would you drink it?

Josie Carter swore that there was no such thing as a “love potion” and that the crazy lady selling it at the hippie festival was a complete sham.

But a tiny little thread of hope is what made her try a sip.

A sip that caused a series of unfortunate events to unfold, wreaking havoc in her life but leading her to a man who just might be everything she’s been missing.

Before time runs out she’ll have to figure out if it’s true love, or if it’s all just too good to be true.

Excerpt
Outside the brick building, all three garage doors are lowered, but the door knob easily turns in my hand. Opening up, I call out, but get no answer. The front lights in the receptionist and waiting area are out, but the ones in the garage are on. I hear rock music coming from the same direction, so I start that way. I go past a car raised up on the lift, and then I come to an abrupt halt, unable to move another step when I see him.
Too jaw-dropping gorgeous to be real, his thick, golden hair is mussed and messy, and a hint of stubble runs along his chiseled jaw. From my profile view of his shirtless body several feet away, his smooth bulging muscles, obviously carved from granite, are covered in sweat, shining like a beacon of sexiness as he works underneath the hood of a car. Never before has sweat looked so sweet, nor the sight of a man ever been this absolutely delectable. Maybe it’s all the remnants of car fumes getting to me, but I feel lightheaded when a scorching hot inferno suddenly ignites somewhere deep inside. Unfamiliar liquid heat burns through me, like nothing I’ve never felt before.
Lord Jesus, there’s a fire…In. My. Panties.

The Latest Series I fell in love with: The Fish Tales by Suanne Laquear

Darra's Review:

Usually I am not the person that leaves long reviews for down time books. I have had this book on my kindle for a couple of months and life happens. So I finally got to it. I almost am sad that I did not take the time earlier this year. It is like I wished I had more time to know the book.
Yes, the first book, The Man I Love, has been out since 2014. Personally I am glad I read all three books at once. It took a couple of weeks to read but the story naturally flowed from book to book.

The first book is from Erik's point of view.  He is a beautiful character. Has all the qualities you love to see in a man. Daisy is old soul with a heart of gold. Will is one of a kind. If you do not fall in love with Erik, you will with Will. There are so many other characters that make the book solid. Life does not have just few people that come in go. There are people that may effect who you will be and actions of others that will define what may to come.
Erik's story is raw. It provokes all the readers emotions. That happiness, sorrow, pain and excitement. I could not even explain how this book effected my mental status. It is a watching someones life story and have nobody to explain it to. Too many words. I know this could not be a final story. There was too much of Erik that was missing.

Give Me Your Answer True was difficult to start because I knew this was Daisy's story. It is not like I hated her. Yes, you know what she did, but life happens, It is hard to move from the first character. Especially because it was Erik. He deserved every page of that book . However every emotion I used for Erik, I did for Daisy as well. Both books tell a life story. Not just a couple of years. of course she didn't live a perfect life. That is what makes this real.
It was not just the story, the writing was fantastic. It goes back and forth. From current time, to the beginning of college. Even before Erik. She sees a therapist and tells her all her memories. Than you get to watch it as if it was a movie. Her story eventually meets up to current tense. And moves on from there. So seamless, you will not realize it happened. This was truly an amazing book with writing that you wish all other books can succeed. At the end of the book, I downloaded the next book within the next minute. I could wait for more.

Here To Stay is the book that holds the outcome for all the characters both Erik and Daisy have encountered.
Honestly, I was afraid it would not end how I wished it to. Do not be afraid, worth each moments of your reading life. There were other books I had to read for reviews right before this book and I mowed thru those in a day to get back to the Fish Tales.
Keep in mind they have lived over a decade separate. Luckily in the second  book you get a little glimpse of Will and Lucky. Now they are back. And this series would not be what it is if it did not include both of them. A little embarrassing to write, I was an emotional mess. Tears  rolled down my face without knowing. A few moments of ugly cries and lots of snotty nose. Hits you to your core. Can't imagine having to go thru such hard times with your soul mate that you finally found again. Life happens in books to. Will had an unfinished story. In Here To Stay you find out what happened during the "Eric" time, the Europe time and the Erik and Daisy days. I fell  in love with him because of how much he loved everyone else. Erik. I have not found a soul mate best friend like I did with Will & Erik. All four were made for each other.

Overall, The Fish Tale series will always have a piece of my heart. I think reading it in just a few weeks was not enough. This story is over most of their lifetimes. I am a sucker for life stories. Nothing is complete until the rest of your life is set. Can't imagine a reader not liking that. The author personally knows some of these tragedy's. So they are true. Personally I wish that was not the case because I would be reading her life. There are dark times. I would not wish that upon anyone. Since I finished the series, I have replayed so many scenes and emotions. Remembering how one character felt. I cannot let it go. May be considered unhealthy, I do not care. Just typing this review makes me want to go back to read more about Erik, Daisy and Will. If you are not touched by this series, you have no heart. It is a story I will read again this year. I am just waiting a few weeks before I go back. Don't want to look reader crazy. But I have these books on a pedestal. The Fish Tale Series touched my soul.

If I were to give a rating, it would be a 5 out of 5. There is a reason why all three books got great reviews. Worth each moment of your time.

Escape from Witchwood Hollow review

Synopsis:

Everyone in Arnn - a small farming town with more legends than residents - knows the story of Witchwood Hollow: if you venture into the whispering forest, the witch will trap your soul among the shadowed trees.

After losing her parents in a horrific terrorist attack on the Twin Towers, fifteen-year-old Honoria and her older brother escape New York City to Arnn. In the lure of that perpetual darkness, Honoria finds hope, when she should be afraid.

Perhaps the witch can reunite her with her lost parents. Awakening the witch, however, brings more than salvation from mourning, for Honoria discovers a past of missing children and broken promises.

To save the citizens of Arnn from becoming the witch’s next victims, she must find the truth behind the woman’s madness.

How deep into Witchwood Hollow does Honoria dare venture?

Review:

This book is a story within a story, within a story, and more. Reading the synopsis, I was intrigued. After reading the book, it was so much more than the description.
The book begins in presence tense. Honoria is just making due with the place she lives. Not by choice of course. She is curious with the story about the witch. However now it is in question of how much she wants to be involved.
Not only do you read about her, but of many other characters. All of them are different living in different eras. Except they are all in one place. You get a story of how they made it to the same place, the Witch's forest.

I do have to say that the book kept me interested till the end. Jordan Elizabeth put a lot of thought into this and it shows. Personally I would have never thought of merging so many stories into one book with the same ending. The book was memorable. In my book life, that is huge. A unique story with a interesting title.

I rate the book a 4.4. Worth your time.
