Blurb:

Never in a million years would I have pictured myself as an axe-wielding, dragon lady, chopping up multi-colored flannel shirts into my very own plaid mulch. But here I am, chopping away my frustrations.

It all started when my brother, Paul, convinced me to go on one last family road trip across the Mother Road with him and my dad.. Just like old times, right? Wrong. What Paul fails to mention is his best man, Porter, will be joining us, who just so happens to be my childhood crush and the man who broke my heart four years ago.

What is supposed to be a fun, family bonding experience across Route 66 turns into a war of pranks, awkward moments and bathrooms full of dirty flannel shirts and day old beard clippings. Paul’s know-it-all attitude and Porter’s devilish charm brings me to the brink of my sanity on my seven day trek across the United States with three bearded men in a small 1980’s RV.

Darra's Review:

How do can I explain Meghan's writing? It is fawesome(can't use the f word). As Sunny say's, love Meghan's book's. Makes me almost pee my pants funny. I read at work and everyone looks at me with a WTH look as I laugh like a school girl.
Anyways, loved this book as all of her others. Her characters in each book are unique. Not one person has been the same. Lets just say that Marley's brother takes the cake. Shake your head ridiculous. In a good way. I will say I wanted to punch him in the face one time. I can't imagine being stuck in a cramped RV with my family and the former crush of my life. Of course, after a while, Porter and Marley's relationship progresses from what it was when they were young to where their life has ended up at. I won't say more about them. One thing I would react differently than Marley, was the wedding. I would murder someone without a doubt.
I can't continue to write my review or it will turn into its own novel. The book is one of a kind. I will reread it and love the characters all over again. Me love MEGHAN long time!

I rate the book the same as Sunny, a 4.8. Keep writing Meghan. There are very few books that always make me laugh throughout the book. One of a kind author.

Sunny's Review:

I really don't know how Meghan keeps writing awesomely funny books that I can't put down. I really love every single character in this book. You have Marley that struck out on her own and is doing everything that she wants to do. She is strong and has a mind of her own. I absolutely love her. Her brother Paul is so dorktacular. He is all girly and emotional even though he was in the military and you would think he would be a man's man. Her dad cracked me up through this book. He obviously loves his family and is a really great guy. Porter is great too. He has basically been a part of the family forever and looks out for Paul. They have a lot of fun and you have to love the bromance.

The back and forth between the characters is fun and you can tell that they all really love each other. There are so many parts that made me laugh and this is going to be a book that I reread anytime I need a pick me up.

I am giving this book 4.8 stars out of 5. I love Meghan's writing and her sense of humor. I can honestly say you need to go get this book if you haven't already!!!

About the Author:

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if "It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing... enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
