Hiding Out by Nicole Andrews Moore

Haley Iverson is a temp at an advertising agency in New York. She dresses in baggy clothes, does her job well and for some reason Samuel Davenport can not get her out of his head. He was very clear when he wrote the policy about not dating within the company, his company.  He wants to get to know her so he asks her to join him in some of the social/business functions he must attend. Adam is the younger brother that runs from responsibility. The more Samuel finds out about Haley the more interested he is in finding out what happened to her. Haley is only interested in being a temp and surviving but as she spends more time with Samuel she sees the opportunities and advancements that she can make in the company and is really excited about it.

Darra's Review

I did enjoy this book. Sam was sweet and so much more. It is so surprising to read about a guy that is so open about how he feels. Haley was a little slow and obvious leery since of her awful past. Wow, that was rough and can’t imagine having to change who you are completely to leave your life behind. I do like Adam. He was funny! The only thing I am not a fan of is 3rd person. It sometimes gets confusing.
Go and read it. I enjoyed it and it is one of those books that you can read thru in only a couple of days.
I give this a book a 4.0.

Sunny's Review
I liked this book. It was an easy read and I enjoyed both of the characters. Haley is great. She is in hiding but at the same time she is figuring out how to take care of herself. She is almost totally alone in the world and after you find out what happened to her you are just like OMG how did she come out of that even somewhat ok? Samuel is AWESOME! He is so sweet. You know from the beginning that he really wants to help Haley and take care of her. He does whatever he can to help her even though she does not really want him to. He uses all of his resources to try and figure her out. He is definitely on the list!!! I am actually really excited to read the next book about Adam. I usually don't like follow up books but I feel like Adam could be a good main character. I would give this book a 4 out of 5.  I totally recommend it! GO GET IT NOW!!  I think I am going to add her to my list of authors to read more :)

Nicki has lived in Charlotte, North Carolina with her children for the past eleven years and her husband for the past two and a half. Her journey has barely begun and she's loving every minute of it. Every day of her life seems to bring new adventures, some bigger, better, shinier and prettier than others. She's still getting used to that new life smell she's experiencing, a combination of hope, love, and happiness. (The perfect scents to build a new life on...)

For fun, she spends time with those she cares about, cooks, reads, writes, and especially lives to travel. The current travel goal: visit every Margaritaville. Two down! (Eleven to go?)

In addition to writing on Suddenly Single Journey, Nicki blogs at What Dreamers Do. Her writing can also be found on Shine, where she is a Shine Parenting Guru and an award winning Yahoo!
