Allison thought it was crazy enough when she found out her father, Liam, wasn't entirely human. But now she has to join his magical allies to unravel his former mistress's plans. Aoife wants to keep Allison's parents apart forever.

Sunny's Review:

I was so excited to get this book!! I love the Fae and am fascinated with their stories. I read the first book a while back and loved it. I could not wait to see what happened with Ali and Ethan. You have Liam trying to get away from Aoife but as usual nothing goes as planned. You get to see even more of the Dannan and you start to like them even more. Laura Howard does an amazing job of making you love and hate at the same time. I fell even more in love with Ethan in this book. I really liked him in the last book and was so upset with what happened to him. I thought I was going to hate him in this book but nope, LOVE HIM! Allison is great. I really like that she is a strong girl and her main goal is to get a great job and be able to support her mom. Her grandparents have raised her and supported her mom since she can't function all of Ali's life. I love that she really isn't whiney. There was a point in this story where she had a flat tire. Instead of throwing a fit she looked up a tutorial on you tube and changed it herself. REALLY!! How many of us would do that? I mean I know how to change a tire b/c I was not allowed to drive until I did it but realistically could I do it now? Probably not. Ali is just AWESOME!

I am giving this book 4.6 stars out of 5. Go get this series!! I can't freaking wait until the next book comes out. There was a cliffhanger and I want to read the next book NOW!!! Laura, if you read this I will totally give you my opinion on the next book if you want to send it over!! Just sayin'. I would say I am kidding but I am a little serious. This is an awesome series and I think if you like some fantasy you will love it.

About Laura

Laura Howard lives in New Hampshire with her husband and four children. Her obsession with books began at the age of 6 when she got her first library card. Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High and other girly novels were routinely devoured in single sittings. Books took a backseat to diapers when she had her first child. It wasn’t until the release of a little novel called Twilight, 8 years later, that she rediscovered her love of fiction. Soon after, her own characters began to make themselves known. The Forgotten Ones is her first published novel.
