Adam James is a corn-fed, Nebraska raised, piece of man meat with a chiseled body and baby face. He is in desperate need of a paycheck and will do just about anything to get one, including stripping down to his skivvies and lathering up in baby oil. Solo Cohan is a quirky hipster with a strong work ethic,raised by two gay dads who are head over heels in love with Harrison Ford and Star Wars, hence the name, Solo. She works for Teeg Model Management, the same modeling agency that decides to book Adam as their next up and coming model. Sparks ignite between her and Adam the minute her baby oil soaked hand connects with his practically naked body. Even though Solo can't stop thinking about Adam during photo shoots, she quickly and awkwardly, shows Adam her distaste for male models and her inability to engage romantically with them. Adam is captivated by her nerdy talk and peculiar tendencies and sets out to make it his mission to turn the Star Wars loving hipster to the dark side, where mingling with models is widely arousing.

It is obviously well known by looking at our FB and blog we are a fan of Meghan's latest books. Newly Exposed has now topped my latest most awesomeness books of 2015. She writes the most fantastic characters that you fall in love with. Solo and Adam being two. Solo is so down to earth and has one of the best jobs ever. Lathering up hot models and making their career a hit. She is the polar opposite of all the models that walk in. No chip on her shoulder but is super cute.

 

In walks Adam. How can you get much better? Small town guy with every intention of taking care of his family. He automatically is captivated with Solo. She is not a fan of dating models. However how can you turn down a guy that loves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Wars? He is the love of my life. Since I have no future with a fictional character, I was rooting for Solo and Adam to get together.

 

Absolutely loved Newly Exposed from beginning to end. Funny, entertaining, hot and super sweet. A winning combination. I can't even put into words how funny Meghan's books are. She writes characters that are not perfect. That is why we without question recommend her books. They make you laugh till you laugh like a maniac in random public places. Makes me look crazy, but worth it.

I fell in love with Meghan's writing when I started the HOT-Lanta series. I have been a fan ever since and while there have been some books I have LOVED there were a couple that I was like Okay this is good but whatever. Newly Exposed is LOVE LOVE LOVE! Definitely in my top 3 favorites. I don't know if I can pick an order for my top faves from her so I am not going to try.

 

I am not a huge Star Wars fan (I am a Trekkie) but I LOVE the nerdy banter between Adam and Solo. I mean who doesn't love nerdy people? Even not knowing a ton about Star Wars you still get the references. I love the hottie model pics that flood FB and Instagram as much as the next girl but I was starting to get annoyed with one model. Maybe because I felt like I found him before the masses or maybe just jealous I am never the FIRST like on his pics. Anyways, this book helps understand a little bit of what the models are expected to do in real life.

 

Adam...I have nothing other than **sigh**. He is AWESOME, AMAZING and HILARIOUS. I love him. I love Solo too. She is strong willed and really kind of a guys girl. She is nerdy and not a total diva. I love that. She has her rules and she does try to stay true to them but she is smart enough to know that she needs to break them.

 

I seriously can't tell you enough times to go get this book! I think you will love it!!!! I don't know that I have ever given 5 stars but guess what...here it is...FIVE STARS FOR NEWLY EXPOSED BY MEGHAN QUINN!!!

She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped. Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking. Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

Luck’s driving so he only glances at me for a second. “Why you thinkin’ like that, Dante?”

“Nothing. This whole fuckin’ mess is making me realize I should make sure she’s better taken care of. He told her I sent him to pick her up because the club was on lockdown and he was takin’ her to our safe house.”

I can’t help laughing at that. “I ain’t sayin’ ‘fuck my girlfriend,’ bro. Just—”

“Yeah, I got it,” he says with a snicker.

“I’d want you in my role too. But Romeo already knows that.”

“Thanks.”

Feelings time over, I relax into the seat and plan how I’m going to murder Hemi when I find his disloyal ass.

I want more answers from her, but I think she’s done. She yawns and I pull her against me, reassuring her that she’s okay. Hell, reassuring myself.

Lost for words. I truly love Tara's books. She seamlessly transitions from Adult Contemporary to Comedy Romance and now to Mystery Thriller. He has been on my favorite list for some time. Even wrote on my blog about her.
This book proves the point why I love her writing. I can say without a doubt this is her best book so far. I was literally late coming into work reading the end of this book. Forget work, I Must FINISH Bury ME! Now I will be thinking about this book the rest of my day. I also have threatened several people at work to buy the book NOW!
There is no reason to tell you a bit of the story. It is just too good for me to give you some of the details. I am not writing this because I was part of a blog tour. The first thing I had to do is get my coffee, than right my review.
This review could continue to go on and on. However I get tired reading paragraph after paragraph of reviews.

Just know, this is by far one of my favorite Mystery/Thriller books this year. Totally giving Tara props for Bury Me. Can't get better than this!
